Welcome to the members area of the ddParties party booking site.

This message is to let you know how to use the site to make your bookings to the monthly parties and to add pictures to your gallery. If you know other people who may be interested in attending a party, use the "Invitations" tab on your profile to send them a letter. All you need is their name and email address, the system does the rest.

To add a display picture (avatar) to your profile.

This is the picture that you see when you log on, and the picture other registered users see on the members list and the party guest list.

• When you have logged in, select “Your Profile” from the members menu.
• Then select “Edit” from the tab on your profile.
• Select “Update your Image” from the drop down menu.
• If you are shy, you can select one of the cartoons we have put on the system, there are a selection to choose from for couples, single ladies, single men and CD/TV/TS.
• Simply click the dot beside the avatar you want to use, then click on “Confirm Choice”
• If you want to use a picture of yourselves, use the option at the top of the screen to upload a picture from your computer.

To add photos to the gallery

When you have logged in,

• Select “Your Profile” from the members menu.
• Then select “Edit” from the tab on your profile.
• Select “Gallery” from the bottom menu.
• Select “Submit new gallery entry” from the menu
• Then click “examine” to upload a picture from your computer.
• You can have up to 10 images in your gallery.

To add yourself to the guest list for a party.

• Select “Book to Attend a Party” from the Members Menu.
• This will display a list of all the parties.
• Select the date of the party you wish to attend.
• Check that your details are correct, and the number of people is correct,
• Then select “Register”

You are now added to the guest list.

To remove yourself from the guestlist

If you make a mistake, and add yourself to the wrong party, or if you need to cancel coming to a party,

• Select “Book to Attend a Party” from the menu.
• This will display a list of all the parties.
• Select the date of the party you wish to cancel.
• Check that your details are correct, and the number of people is correct,
• Tthen select “Cancel”
• You are now removed from the guest list.
